Statement on the first round of the Portuguese Presidential Elections

The Socialist International warmly congratulates António José Seguro and our member, the Socialist Party of Portugal, on the excellent results achieved in the first round of the presidential elections. We call on all democratic and progressive voters in Portugal to unite their forces for a resounding victory for António José Seguro in the second round.
