Statement on the Israeli Attacks in Gaza

The Socialist International strongly condemns the Israeli attacks that have caused the deaths of more than 400 people and endangered the lives of the Israeli hostages who remain in captivity.
These actions, along with the annexation of parts of the West Bank, in the current global context, create deeply troubling scenarios that are completely unacceptable.

We call for a total ceasefire and for humanitarian aid to be allowed into Gaza.
