Statement on the Arrest of Ekrem Imamoğlu in Türkiye

The Socialist International expresses its great concern regarding the latest developments in Türkiye following the arrest and imprisonment of the Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoğlu and many of his collaborators. We express our solidarity to Ekrem Imamoğlu and our member party CHP in these challenging times. 

The Socialist International will always be defending our democratic values!
