RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE SALVADOR ALLENDE FOUNDATION
The Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Socialist International expresses its astonishment and concern at the decision to suspend the State contribution to the Salvador Allende Foundation in the Republic of Chile. This decision disregards the efforts that the Foundation has carried out over the years, honoring the legacy of a martyr of Chilean democracy and of our region, in defense of the ideals of freedom and equality.
